Bye Elections 2018 Karnataka and Maharashtra MLA Schedule, Vote Counting:

The Election Commission of India ECI had planned to conduct the Bye elections to the Legislative Council of Karnataka and Maharashtra state in India.

In the Karnataka state Legislative Council there are totally 3 casual vacancies and 1 in the Legislative Council of Maharashtra by the Members of Legislative Assembly MLA.

Due to the resignation of Karnataka Legislative Assembly on 16th May 2018 by K.S Eshwarappa, Dr.G.Parameshwara, V.Somanna the Bye election is to be conducted in the state of Karnataka.

Like wise due to the death of Pandurang Pundlik Fundkar on 31st May 2018 the Bye election is to be conducted in the state of Maharashtra.

On 14th September 2018 the notification regarding the Bye Elections 2018 to Karnataka and Maharashtra state was issued.

The last date mentioned for the making nominations will be 22nd September 2018 and the scrutiny of nominations will be done on 24th September 2018.

If required the withdrawal of candidatures from the Karnataka, Maharashtra state Bye Election 2018 can be done on or before 26th September 2018.

As per the schedule polling to Karnataka, Maharashtra state Bye Election 2018 will be done on 3rd October 2018, Wednesday from 9 AM to 4 PM.

The counting of votes for the Bye Elections 2018 to Karnataka and Maharashtra state will be done on 3rd October 2018 and the final result will be released.
